Randall cares about dinosaurs the way the guy in La La Land cares about jazz. It's this deeply unhealthy obsession where he doesn't care about the thing so much as he cares about demonstrating that he cares about it more than you. Face it Randall, dinosaurs are over. No one wants a dragon with feathers.
