Did you know that "Earth-like" doesn't necessarily mean "habitable for humans"? This subtle loophole is an inexhaustible source of comedy gold. It really helps to have an offscreen crowd telling us how we're supposed to feel at each stage of the presentation-- I especially like how the crowd is down to one person by the end, indicating that everyone else already left.
An earlier version of this comic had some wildly bad spacing in the alt text, but it looks like it's fixed now and I forgot to screenshot.
