It might have been better if Randall did some kind of logistic regression showing the probability of successful repair with increasing time spent, but that would imply Randall still knows how to do math. And why does he ever spend more than 3 hours, anyway? According to the chart, if you haven't started making progress by then, you're wasting your time.
