Programmers sure are a wacky bunch aren't they? You have to be really careful about asking a programmer a question because she'll answer exactly the question you asked! This one time I asked a programmer to go check if they had eggs at the store and buy milk if they had some, and when I asked why she came back with 12 gallons of milk she said "because they had eggs"! (Sorry, just some programmer humor there.) They like recursion too, which is why they keep reusing the same comics.
