Not "we should probably stop wasting so much time reading internet news", but "I don't think the endless 24-hour news cycle has been good for either of us". It is understandable, if not especially admirable, to be terrified of circumstances outside of our control-- but to choose terror, rather than adapt to those circumstances as far as we are able?
