it's observational humor completely devoid of any humor, giving it mere "observation" status, and as far as observations go, it is not a particularly interesting one. he's counting on his readers to assume that since it's a diagram it must be worthy of appreciation, even as the experience of viewing the comic arouses absolutely nothing within oneself.
